Google Chrome shortcuts

The three shortcuts – each for bookmarks, tabs, and history allows you to find them directly using the address bar itself.

Google Chrome, the world’s most popular browser for web browsing is launching three shortcuts that will help users work more efficiently. With the latest version of Chrome’s address bar, Google adds three shortcuts – one for each for bookmarks, tabs, and history that allow you to look them up directly in the address bar.

Here are the specifics:

@tabs: This feature comes in handy when you have multiple tabs. To access @tabs, enter @tabs into the address bar. Click the button ‘search tabs’ and type in the title of the tab you wish to go to. There will be a list of matching suggestions. At the moment, the shortcut to go to a specific tab will be Ctrl+ (tab number).

@bookmarks: When you type @bookmarks in the address field you will find the bookmark you’re looking for within the address bar in the address bar.

@history: Instead of pressing Ctrl+H to navigate, instead use the shortcut that opens your search history on another tab, you can type @history into the address bar to search quickly through the browsing history. Then, get to the page you’re trying to find.
